These Terms of Service govern your use of Unsub at unsub.cash. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Unsub.

1. About Unsub

Unsub helps you record and review subscriptions, estimate subscription spending, receive reminders, and find guidance for cancelling services provided by third parties. Unsub does not sell those subscriptions, collect charges on their behalf, or cancel them for you.

In these Terms, "Unsub", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of Unsub in Norway. "You" means the individual using the service. The service is intended for consumers in the European Economic Area.

2. Eligibility and acceptance

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may not create or use an account for another person without their authorization. When registration requires you to confirm acceptance, we may record the date and the versions of the Terms and Privacy Policy that you accepted.

3. Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current.
• Protect your password, two-factor authentication details, and active sessions.
• Tell us promptly at support@unsub.cash if you suspect unauthorized account access.
• Do not share, sell, automate access to, or misuse your account.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from a failure for which we are legally responsible.

4. Subscription records and reminders

Information in Unsub is based on details you provide, estimates, and third-party sources. You are responsible for checking prices, dates, renewal terms, and cancellation requirements with the relevant subscription provider.

Reminders, projections, statistics, and cancellation guides are informational tools. They may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Missing a reminder does not cancel a subscription or change your agreement with a third-party provider. You remain responsible for cancelling services and meeting third-party deadlines.

5. Calendar feeds

If you enable a calendar feed, anyone with its private URL may be able to view subscription names, dates, prices, and currencies included in the feed. Keep the URL confidential and contact us if it is shared unintentionally. Your calendar provider processes feed data under its own terms and privacy policy.

6. CSV import

If CSV import is made available, you may submit transaction data to identify possible recurring payments. Review files before submission and remove information you do not want processed. Unless the import screen states otherwise, Unsub will process the raw file only for the import, will not store the raw CSV or a complete transaction list, and will retain only the limited data needed for suggestions and subscriptions you choose to keep.

Import results are suggestions, not financial advice or a complete account analysis. You must review each result before relying on it. Unsub does not connect directly to your bank under these Terms unless a separate feature notice expressly says so.

7. Paid features

The core service is currently available without a recurring Unsub subscription. If we offer CSV import or another feature for a one-time price, the price, included functionality, taxes, payment processor, payment timing, and any feature-specific conditions will be shown before you purchase. Those checkout terms form part of these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable right of withdrawal, remedy, or refund. We will request any legally required consent before beginning immediate delivery of paid digital content or services during a withdrawal period.

8. Contributions

You may suggest cancellation guides, edits, text, links, or images. You keep ownership of your contribution. You grant Unsub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, edit, and publish it within Unsub, and to allow service providers to perform those activities on our behalf. The license is limited to operating, securing, and improving Unsub.

You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit the contribution and that it does not violate law, privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or another person's rights. We may review, reject, edit, unpublish, or remove contributions.

Contributions and their review history may remain without account attribution after you delete your account. Only approved content is publicly visible. The license above continues for retained contributions. You may request review or removal by contacting terms@unsub.cash.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use Unsub to:

• break the law, infringe rights, or submit unlawful, deceptive, or harmful material;
• upload malware or interfere with the service or another user;
• gain unauthorized access, probe security, or evade usage controls;
• scrape, resell, or commercially exploit the service without permission;
• impersonate another person or submit personal data without a lawful reason; or
• use automated systems in a way that places unreasonable load on the service.

10. Unsub content and intellectual property

Unsub and its original software, design, branding, and content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service. They do not transfer ownership of Unsub or its content to you.

If you believe content on Unsub infringes your rights, contact terms@unsub.cash with enough information for us to locate and assess it.

11. Third-party services and links

Unsub includes information about and links to services we do not control. Third-party terms, prices, cancellation processes, availability, and privacy practices may change. A link or guide does not mean that Unsub endorses or guarantees that third party.

12. Availability and changes to the service

We may maintain, update, limit, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We will use reasonable care in providing the service and will not exclude warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded for EEA consumers.

13. Suspension and account deletion

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or address a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

You may request account deletion through account settings. Deletion is subject to limited retention required by law or justified for security, dispute resolution, backups, and retained contributions, as described in the Privacy Policy.

14. Responsibility and liability

Unsub is a subscription-management aid, not a bank, payment service, financial adviser, or representative of the services listed in the application. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for a third party's acts, your underlying subscriptions, or loss caused by inaccurate information you supplied or failed to verify.

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for intent or gross negligence and mandatory consumer remedies. Otherwise, each party is responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by its breach of these Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

Norwegian law governs these Terms. If you are an EEA consumer, you retain the mandatory protections of the country where you live. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute. You may also use any competent consumer dispute body or bring a claim before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, law, or our practices change. We will identify the current version by its last-updated date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the service or by email and request renewed acceptance when appropriate. Changes do not reduce rights already earned in a completed purchase.

17. General

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a reorganization or transfer of the service, subject to applicable law and notice requirements.
